OBYC Mourns the Loss of Carl D’Emilio
It’s been a sad few days in Ocean Beach Unit II as we say goodbye to long time member from Ocean Road, Carl D’Emilio. Below is a copy of his Obituary. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family.
Beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend Carl M. D’Emilio of Berkeley Heights, N.J., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at the age of 46. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, Jan. 16, at 12 noon at the Church of the Little Flower (Upper Church), 110 Roosevelt Ave., Berkeley Heights. Interment will be held privately. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial. Born in Livingston, N.J., Carl was raised in Berkeley Heights and previously lived in Pleasanton, Calif., before returning to Berkeley Heights to raise his family. Carl graduated from Governor Livingston High School and Albright College. He was the president of Advent Inc. Technology Company of New Providence, N.J., and volunteered as a football coach with the Berkeley Heights PAL. Carl is survived by his beloved wife, Donelle (nee Interdonato), and his loving children, Luca, Nico and Camile; his parents, Alfred D’Emilio and Renata Reinartz; his brother, Michael (Julie) D’Emilio, and his mother-in-law, Diane Interdonato. He is also survived by many loving friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
