Last week, Ocean Beach & Yacht Club sent a mailing out to all homeowners regarding the upcoming Board of Governors Election that will take place during our end-of-season meeting on September 4th, 2021.
After sending this mailing, it has come to our attention that we made in error and forgot to include how many seats are open during this upcoming election.
Board of Governors Election Candidates
At our September 4, 2021 meeting, there will be four (4) seats to fill in our Board Election. Three board members have expiring terms while the fourth seat is a result of a previous Board member resigning (after selling their home) mid-term.
The top three vote earners will assume the new 3-year terms. The fourth highest vote earner will assume the remainder of the abandoned term, which is 2 more years.
The candidates who have applied for this election cycle include:
- Eileen Barron (incumbent)
- Bill Lindner (incumbent)
- Shane Skwarek (incumbent)
- Sally McCorrison
- Mike Mercurio
