Seeking Summer Employment for 2014?

If you, or a member of your family, wish to seek employment at OBYC for the summer of 2014, please request the type of employment in writing to OBYC, PO Box 92, Lavallette, NJ 08735 by January 4, 2014.

Employment positions may be limited due to circumstances related to Hurricane Sandy. New Jersey working papers are required for teenagers 14 years of age up to 18 years of age.

Anyone seeking to be employed as a lifeguard must be at least sixteen years of age and have YMCA or Red Cross Lifesaving certifications. Potential lifeguards must pass a test given by OBYC that encompasses criteria of the US Lifeguarding Association for tidal waters.
