The geese of the Barrier Island are just as excited as we are about the beautiful weather we’ve been having thus far this summer. So much so, that they’ve been spending a fair amount on time utilizing the Ocean Beach II Bay Beach.
The problem, however, is the “gifts” they’ve been leaving behind for our volunteers to clean up. In order to cut down on the number of geese that are hanging around the Bay Beach area and leaving behind droppings, we ask that you please do not feed the geese!
In the mean time, Ocean Beach II is working on other ways to help remedy the problem.
