As we prepare for the upcoming Project Playgroung Beefsteak Dinner in August, we need to collect prizes for the Chinese Auction. The more prizes we have, the more successful our fundraising event will be! Please contact Donna Skwarek or Marge Hansen if you are interested in either donating new items or are willing to visit local businesses to ask for donations of products or services.
We have drafted a donor letter to be given to business owners which explains the purpose of the auction, and how the proceeds will be used. A receipt will be given to each donor, and their contribution will be noted in the Dinner Program and on the website. We will ask attendees to show their appreciation for the donations by frequenting these businesses. We need prizes of all sizes, and donations of gift cards or certificates are welcome.
Donna and Marge will coordinate the effort, and keep track of what businesses have been visited. We don’t want to hit the same business twice. The dinner is on August 25, so let’s get started!
