During the evening of August 4, 2025, OBII hosted the first annual, all female, “Conquer the Current” lifeguard tournament. Female lifeguards from four local beaches competed in six events. Our OBII female lifeguards took first place, followed by Monterey Beach, Seacrest, and Normandy Beach. Congratulations to our female OBII lifeguards!!!

The final local beaches Lifeguard Tournament was held on Friday evening, August 15th, hosted by Seacrest Beach. Nine teams competed in six events. Our OBII lifeguards placed second, only 2 points behind the first place Seacrest Beach's lifeguards. Congratulations to our OBII lifeguards for a job well done!
