July 09, 2022 - The first local lifeguard tournament was held this evening at Normandy Beach. Seven teams participated in six events. Our OBII lifeguards tied with the Lavallette lifeguards in total points. But, because our OBII lifeguards had two event first place finishes over Lavallette's one event first place finish, our OBII lifeguards were awarded first place overall in the Normandy Beach Lifeguard Tournament.

July 19, 2022 Our OBII lifeguards participated in a lifeguard tournament hosted by Seaside Park this evening. Nine teams participated in eight events. Our OBII lifeguards tied with the Seaside Park lifeguards in total points and shared FIRST place. The tournament pictures will eventually be posted on the OBII web site. Keep an eye out for them. July 27, 2022 The OBII Ironman Ironwoman competition was held this evening at OBII. Many local beach lifeguards competed in six events: Swim, Paddle, Run, Kayak, Row, and Beach Flags.
