July 09, 2022 - The first local lifeguard tournament was held this evening at Normandy Beach. Seven teams participated in six events. Our OBII lifeguards tied with the Lavallette lifeguards in total points. But, because our OBII lifeguards had two event first place finishes over Lavallette's one event first place finish, our OBII lifeguards were awarded first place overall in the Normandy Beach Lifeguard Tournament.
Congratulations to Matt Cookson on winning the 1st Annual OBYC Ping Pong Tournament this week! Players and spectators alike had a terrific time.

July 19, 2022 Our OBII lifeguards participated in a lifeguard tournament hosted by Seaside Park this evening. Nine teams participated in eight events. Our OBII lifeguards tied with the Seaside Park lifeguards in total points and shared FIRST place. The tournament pictures will eventually be posted on the OBII web site. Keep an eye out for them. July 23, 2022 Our OBII lifeguards participated in a lifeguard tournament hosted by Ocean Beach Shores this evening. Eight teams participated in six events. Our OBII lifeguards placed SECOND.
July 27, 2022 The OBII Ironman Ironwoman competition was held this evening at OBII. Many local beach lifeguards competed in six events: Swim, Paddle, Run, Kayak, Row, and Beach Flags. The individual lifeguards who amassed the most points from the six events were crowned Ironman and Ironwoman.

July 30, 2022 The Pat Daley Classic Lifeguard Tournament was held here at OBII this evening. Eleven teams participated in seven events. Our OBII lifeguards took FIRST place.
August 06, 2022 - Our OBII lifeguards participated in a lifeguard tournament hosted by Ocean Beach Unit III this evening. Eleven teams participated in six events. Our OBII lifeguards took first place in 3 of the 6 events, and overall taking FIRST place in the tournament.
August 14, 2022 - Our OBII lifeguards participated in a lifeguard tournament hosted by Chadwick Beach. Eight teams participated in six events. Overall, our OBII lifeguards placed SECOND in the tournament.
August 13 - The Coldwater Classic returned, thanks to the joint efforts of Alec Matson & Matt Robertson. This year's winners were the team of "Old School".
