• Improvements Coordinator

Former President & current Club Administrator Eileen Barron Announces Her Retirement

During our Fall 2024 General Membership Meeting, then-President and current Club Administrator Eileen Barron announced that she would not be seeking re-election and would be retiring from her role as Club Administrator, effective Summer 2025.

Since assuming the role from Pat Daley, Eileen has been the driving force behind our community. With an unparalleled blend of leadership, dedication, and vision, she has expertly navigated the complex responsibilities of Administrator, President, and community volunteer. 

Her efforts have been instrumental in ensuring OBYC has run smoothly and efficiently, both in daily operations and in times of challenge.

Eileen’s passion for our community is immeasurable, as is the countless hours she has devoted to making OBYC a place where all members can thrive. 

Whether leading major initiatives, supporting individual members, or volunteering her time in countless ways, Eileen has always put the community’s needs first. Her ability to balance strategic leadership with personal involvement has set a standard of excellence for all who follow in her footsteps.

We are grateful for her unwavering service and wish her a fulfilling and joyous retirement – with plenty of beautiful beach days.
