We are saddened to announce the passing of Gene Neglia, a valued member of OB2 for many years.
Gene dedicated countless volunteer hours, serving several terms on the Board of Governors as Secretary and Treasurer. He was actively involved in the Special Events Committee, organizing and decorating for fundraising fashion shows, starting the ice concession, and running arts and crafts nights. Most recently, Gene served as a night-time security officer, continuing his commitment to our community. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Services will take place on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 at MJ Murphy Funeral Home
616 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction NJ.
Mass service will be on Friday at 10am at the funeral home followed by entombment at Franklin Memorial Park; 1800 State Route 27 North Brunswick NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
