NORTH BRUNSWICK – LEON TKACENKO passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, New York, surrounded by his family. He was 59 years old.
Born in Neptune, he resided in Howell and New York before relocating to North Brunswick 26 years ago.
Leon was an options trader for various firms for 19 years and, most currently, he worked as a manager in shipping and receiving for Ingredion, Bridgewater.
He was a parishioner of St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell, and St. Bartholomew R.C. Church in East Brunswick.
Leon was predeceased by his father, Leonid, in 1983.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Veronica (Smith); his children, Leon, Andrew, and Allie; his mother, Galina Tkacenko of Jackson; his sister, Julie Vitanov of Jackson; his brother, Alex and his wife, Michele, of Howell, and numerous family and friends whom he loved and loved him.
