OBYC Mourns the Loss of Fr. Joseph Kelly

Fr. Joseph Kelly, a Carmelite priest from Scotland, entered eternal happiness and peace with his God on January 6, 2016. Before encountering poor health, Fr. Joe spent his four weeks of vacation at Ocean Beach 2 with his family. For years, he said Saturday evening Mass at the gazebo on the OB2 bayfront. He also assisted at St. Bonaventure Church when needed. Joe was the uncle of Marie Shaw, Mike Daley, Arline Daley, and Pat Daley. We are grateful for his services to us as well as his pleasant and cordial approach to people.
