OBYC Mourns the Loss of Betty Clark

After an eight year battle with IPF, Betty earned her wings. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 58 years, Bill. Her 5 loving children, Billy, Chuck, Jack, Matt and Marybeth. She leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Betty grew up in Columbus, Ohio and attended Heidelberg University. It was there she met her one true love, Bill. They married and moved to New Jersey. Betty was a graduate of Kean University. She went on to teach kindergarten in Roselle Park, earning Teacher of the Year for 1992-1993. Upon retirement Betty moved to Fort Myers, Florida, where she learned her love for playing golf. Arrangements are a Christian mass at St. John XXIII, Fort Myers, Fl. Followed by a burial at St. John XXIII Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will follow at Olde Hickory Golf Country Club, Fort Myers, Fl. At 3:30 PM.
